Why Wait was co-created by Rabia Ijaz and Terrelle Hegarty after becoming great friends during their time together completing PhD studies at the University of Canterbury. Rabia and Terrelle have extensive experience working with, and educating people within diverse communities. During their time together as students they discovered how relevant, useful research is not delivered to frontline workers where it could be of significant benefit to individuals and businesses. This limited access to valued practical information and learning has been the inspiration to create the Why Wait company.
